How to pay

You book your appointment at passport.gov.ph, then pay the processing fee at an authorized payment center. You get a confirmation email with your appointment package after paying. Booking the appointment itself is free 1. Cancelled appointments cannot be restored and fees are not refundable, not transferable and not reusable 3.

Photo and documents

You do not need to bring a passport photo. The consular office takes your photo and biometrics digitally 1.

A new adult applicant needs a confirmed online appointment, personal appearance, a filled-in application form, a PSA-issued birth certificate on security paper with a photocopy, and an acceptable ID with a photocopy 4.

How to apply and from abroad

Appointments are only made through passport.gov.ph. Some groups can use the courtesy lane without an appointment, including senior citizens, persons with disability, solo parents, pregnant women, minors aged 7 and below, and OFWs with proof of status 3.

A regular passport issued to someone 18 or older is valid for ten years under Republic Act 11983 1.

For passports applied for overseas, the DFA tells you to check the consular fees on the website of the Philippine embassy or consulate where you apply 1.
